Warrior Hall of Fame
The first-ever national championship in any sport was won by 1976-77 Western Baptist’s men’s basketball team at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II tournament. Under the direction of head coach Tim Hills, the Warriors went 17-13 that year and were led in scoring by Mark Bradley (17.6 points per game) and Don Hiebenthal (16.5 points per game).
