Warrior Hall of Fame
A four-year member (1995-98) of Western Baptist’s men’s soccer team, Aaron Lewis registered 159 points during his career that included 72 goals and 15 assists. Lewis stands 2nd all-time in points and goals scored in Warrior history, while holding the single-season freshman record for most goals scored with 22. A National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) 1st team All-American as a freshman, Lewis was twice named Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Year (1996 & 1998) and was a three-time member of the All-Cascade Collegiate Conference team. In 1995, Lewis helped lead the Warrior men’s soccer program to the college’s first conference title in any sport as a freshman after scoring a team-leading 22 goals. A six-time Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, Lewis led Western Baptist to a combined four-year win-loss record of 56-23-7 that included a conference mark of 25-5-2 and four straight regular season conference crowns. Following his career at Western Baptist, Lewis was the program’s first-ever draft selection in the 1999 Major League Soccer (MLS) College Draft when the then-Dallas Burn drafted him in the third round (35th overall).
