Warrior Hall of Fame
Tim Hills was the head coach of the men’s basketball program at Western Baptist for 23 years (1969-72, 74-83, 87-98) and compiled a school-record 389 wins during his tenure that included a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II national championship during the 1976-77 season. Hills won 20-or-more games seven times during his coaching career that included four straight from 1994-98 and was named NCCAA and NAIA District II Coach of the Year twice. Hills led Western Baptist to 16 NAIA and nine NCCAA playoff appearances during his tenure, while also being named Cascade Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year once and NCCAA regional Coach of the Year five times. This is Hills’ second Hall of Fame selection, as he was elected into the NAIA District II Hall of Fame in 1994.
