Warrior Hall of Fame
Sherwood is recognized as one of the best players in men's basketball history after helping lead Western Baptist to three straight National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) national tournaments, while playing under Hall of Fame coach Tim Hills. The third all-time leading scorer in program history with 2,710 points, Sherwood is one of six players in school history to score 2,000-or-more points in a career and ranks in the Top 10 in nine statistical categories. As a senior, Sherwood was voted Western Baptist Male Athlete of the Year as well as earning First Team All-Cascade Collegiate Conference, NCCAA All-American, and NCCAA All-Tournament recognition. For the past 10 seasons, Sherwood has served as head men's basketball coach at his alma mater.
